Terms of Service

Last updated: April 13, 2026

Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the CoreJourney platform ("Service"), operated by CoreJourney ("we," "us," or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Service.

These Terms apply to all users of the Service, including facilitators, practice administrators, and any other individuals who access the platform. By creating an account, you represent that you are at least 18 years of age and have the legal authority to enter into this agreement.

Account Responsibilities

When you create an account on CoreJourney, you are responsible for:

  • Providing accurate, current, and complete information during registration
  • Maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials
  • All activity that occurs under your account, whether authorized by you or not
  • Notifying us immediately at hello@corejourney.co if you suspect unauthorized access to your account
  • Ensuring that any team members or staff you add to your account comply with these Terms

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that we reasonably believe have been compromised.

Permitted Use

CoreJourney is designed for licensed or credentialed psychedelic facilitators and wellness practitioners to manage their professional practices. You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You may not:

  • Use the Service for any purpose that violates applicable federal, state, or local laws
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service, other accounts, or connected systems
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any portion of the platform
  • Use the Service to store or transmit malicious code, viruses, or harmful data
  • Resell, sublicense, or redistribute access to the Service without our written consent
  • Use the Service in any manner that could impair its performance or interfere with other users

HIPAA and Compliance Disclaimer

CoreJourney provides tools and infrastructure that support HIPAA-compliant practice management. We execute a Business Associate Agreement (BAA) with every customer as part of onboarding.

However, the facilitator is ultimately responsible for their own HIPAA compliance. CoreJourney does not provide legal, medical, or regulatory advice. Your use of the platform does not guarantee compliance with HIPAA or any other regulation.

You are responsible for understanding your obligations as a Covered Entity or healthcare provider under applicable laws, implementing appropriate policies and procedures within your practice, training your staff on proper data handling, and using the platform's security features (such as access controls and session timeouts) as intended.

Payment Terms

CoreJourney operates on a subscription basis. By selecting a plan, you agree to the following:

  • Subscription fees are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis, depending on the plan you select
  • All payments are processed securely through Stripe. CoreJourney does not store your full payment card details.
  • Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period unless you cancel before the renewal date
  • Refunds are not provided for partial billing periods. If you cancel mid-cycle, you retain access until the end of your current billing period.
  • We reserve the right to modify pricing with at least 30 days written notice. Price changes take effect at the start of the next billing cycle.
  • Accounts with failed payments will receive a grace period of 7 days. If payment is not resolved, the account may be suspended.

Intellectual Property

The CoreJourney platform, including its design, code, features, documentation, and branding, is the exclusive property of CoreJourney and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You retain full ownership of all content, data, and records you create or upload through the Service. By using the platform, you grant CoreJourney a limited, non-exclusive license to host, store, and process your content solely for the purpose of providing the Service.

We do not claim ownership of your data. We do not use client records or PHI for any purpose beyond delivering the Service, as outlined in our Privacy Policy and BAA.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, CoreJourney shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the Service. This includes, without limitation, loss of revenue, data, business opportunities, or goodwill.

Our total cumulative liability for any claims arising under these Terms shall not exceed the total amount you paid to CoreJourney during the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure, though we take commercially reasonable steps to ensure reliability and data protection.

Termination

You may cancel your account at any time through your account settings or by contacting us at hello@corejourney.co. Upon cancellation:

  • You retain access to the Service through the end of your current billing period
  • You may export your data, including client records, before your access ends
  • All PHI will be securely deleted or returned within 30 days of account closure, as specified in the BAA

We may suspend or terminate your account immediately if you materially breach these Terms, use the Service for illegal activity, fail to resolve a payment issue after the grace period, or engage in conduct that jeopardizes the security of the platform or other users.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Any disputes arising under these Terms shall first be addressed through good-faith negotiation between the parties. If the dispute cannot be resolved within 30 days, either party may pursue binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association, with proceedings held in Delaware.

Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you by email and update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the Service after revised Terms take effect constitutes acceptance of the changes. If you do not agree with the revised Terms, you must stop using the Service and cancel your account.
